That clown Kakorrot, or the one you call Goku, is away so i'm in charge Earthlings! Listen up Punks! For those of you who don't know who I am, I'll go easy on you for now. I am Vegeta, Prince of the Saiyans! This site is mostly Dragonball Z, but I've decided to add some other things in there as well. Whether you are an experienced Dragonball Z warrior, or are just learning the basics, I'm sure what i have so far you'll find just fine.
New to DBZ?: Since this site's setup is so crappy, the only way I could get info across was to add text into the text box above each picture. Just click on a picture and there will be info in a text box located above the picture.

Most of the pictures on this site are high or close to high quality. Either that or they are really well drawn. Some of the pics are rare or uncommon ones. I can't stand badly drawn screenshots, cels, or horribly blurred pictures so don't expect to find them here!

Thing you need to know about Dragonball Z:
Ki energy: To a person who is uneducated in Dragonball Z, you must know the word Ki to understand anything that goes on in the show. Ki in the real world is the life force, and the energy that makes everything in the universe work like it does. There are two different types of Ki, inherited Ki and aquired Ki. Inherited Ki is the Ki energy that you inherit from your parents during conception, aquired Ki is the Ki that you aquire through physical training and a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle makes your Ki stronger and easier to maintain. To do the Art of ki is more difficult then maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Ki is used for any thing from healing to fighting and physical feats like in superhuman strength for lifting and attacking.
****The Ki energy in Dragonball Z is an over-exaggerated kind of Ki art. By focusing Ki energy, the characters are able to create visible energy masses that cause atomic explosions and even use it to levitate and soar through the air. By gathering their ki, they are able to create huge amounts of it in order to raise their physical power and even can occaionally transform their bodies. The Ki in Dragonball Z is used in numerous attacks like energy waves, energy bombs, disks, blinding techniques, lazers, energy blades, and the occasional energy shield. Even a simple burst of it can block or disperse foriegn Ki. Very rarely is it used for healing.

Saiyan: The main race in Dragonball Z, they appear almost exactly like humans. The Saiyans are the ultimate warrior race from the Planet Vegeta, until it was destroyed by an overlord that feared their evolving physical power. The Saiyans are considered "space pirates", they go from planet to planet exterminating the primary inhabitants in their quest to sell the planet for profit on the Galactic market. Saiyans generally do not have high IQ's, but they are experts at fighting and ki usage. Each Saiyan is born with a monkey tail that enables them to transform into a Giant monkey with a full moon and each Saiyan is put into one of three classes based on their physical power at birth and their family's power: 1st (the strongest, the royal Saiyans) 2nd (median Saiyans with considerable power capabilities) and the most common class 3rd (Low class warriors).
Super Saiyan: The legendary Saiyan warrior, this tranformed warrior was thought to only be able to be reached by 1st class Saiyans. But the first Saiyan to reach it in over a thousand years was actually a 3rd class Saiyan. A Super Saiyan transformation occurs when a Saiyan who has control of his ki loses himself to rage and raises his ki to 50 times his resting State. This huge uprising of ki and emotions transforms his body where he gets larger muscles, yellowish-blonde hair that stands upright, and green or blue eyes. His ki aura also turns yellow instead of the standard color of blue, white, or purple. By intensly training, the Super Saiyan can ascend to higher levels of power, and transforming his body every time. The Super Saiyan power becomes easier and easier to control with every transformation. Eventually a Saiyan is able to transform without the side effects of unstable emotions and a high ki level. By limiting his Ki output, a mastered Super Saiyan can approach an enemy with almost no ki detection at all.
Example of a Super Saiyan Transformation:
Dragonballs: Seven magical balls scattered across the globe, that when brought together, can sommon a dragon god that can grant anywish you desire within the dragon's power. The Dragon God can even revive the dead if the person died of unnatural causes and within a year of the time he was sommoned. The Dragonballs were created by a peacful people from the Planet called Namek. Each ball is orange in color and has a different amount of stars inside from the next Dragonball. The main character of the Dragonball series possessed the four star ball. See below for the original series opening (English) and a general explanation of Dragonballs!
Here's a little DBZ trivia for you:
*Chi Chi wanted Gohan's name to be Montimer.
*Since Cell does indeed possess Saiyan blood, he is considered a Super Saiyan.
*Roshi was the first to climb Korin Tower and Korin is the one who gave Roshi the Kintoun (Nimbus).
*Senzu Beans are supposed to restore your energy for ten days.
*Majin Buu's original form is his Kid form, and not the pudgy pink form he is first seen in.
*Vegeta, when he first fights Cell, could have reached the Super, Super Saiyan like Trunks did, but he knew the side-effects of lost speed.
*The Dragonballs were only supposed to be used once every hundred years.
*When you line all the DB mangas up and look at the picture that is made on all the spines, Yajirobi is the only character who appears twice (It was accidental, Toriyama said so himself: Once on Dragonball book 17 and then again on 26 [DBZ books 1 and 10])

It can also pick up the tiniest jump in a person's power even from hundreds of miles away. The readings take form in numbers, but no one is sure on how the readings are calculated. It is also used as a digital record keeper and an audio transmitter so he can communicate verbally with his comrads that could be lightyears away.

Saiyan Trivia:
*A pure-blooded Saiyan's hair doesn't grow from the day of birth. This excludes Transformations, and most saiyans, their natural hair color is either black or dark brown.
*All Saiyans are born with tails, which gives them the ability to transform into a Giant Monkey called an Oozaru when the moon is full. When cut off, these tails grow back in about nine months.
*Based on their family's power range and their personal power levels at birth, Saiyan's are catagorized into three classes: Third: A low class Soldier, Second: An elite, and First: A Super Elite. There is also the Legendary Super Saiyan, a Saiyan who is so powerful at birth that the transformation to Super Saiyan is natural and requires no intense training.
*Saiyan/ Human hybrids are warriors of extreme abilities and are capable of easily achieving levels that a pure blooded Saiyan could hardly dream of, even though you wouldn't expect it because Humans are a weak race. Most of these Hybrids are able to become Super Saiyans at childhood, even some as young as seven years old; and to a pure blooded Saiyan, becoming a Super Saiyan at any point in their entire lifetime is cosidered to be an impossisility.
*Saiyan genetics work in unusual ways, the second son of a male Saiyan always shares an almost identical resemblence to the father. (See Kakorrot with his father Bardock and Goten with Kakorrot). Also a lot of Saiyans tend to look similar without a reason.
*Through the most intense training, a regular Saiyan can become a Super Saiyan. When a Saiyan can raise their power to fifty times their normal state, their bodies transform. They get yellowish orange hair that stands on end, green eyes, and increased muscle mass. Their mental state goes through a radical change as well, they are always short tempered and can be irrational. However, each time that a Saiyan tranforms into a Super Saiyan, this rageful mental state deminishes little by little, until it is gone. In order for a Saiyan to force his body to transform for the first time, he must have a moment of uncontrolled rage.
The original Super Saiyan was an Oozaru with yellowish fur, not a regular Saiyan with yellowish hair.
